My First Reiki Share
On February 16th, I participated in my first Reiki Share. I traveled to Lewiston to the Patrick Dempsey Cancer Center Hope and Healing.
I am reading a book right now, called Reiki Nurse, by Meredith Kendell. She is a Nurse, Master's prepared, and Reiki Master. I commented on her blog, amethysthealth.com.
She wrote back to me and invited me to this Reiki Share. This is what I experienced.
There was 12 of us at the Reiki Share. I felt like I had been there before and that I felt like I knew everyone. Though I had never met any one of them before. I connected with three women there. Charlotte, Jeanne and Jean. They are all Reiki Masters. The energy was so strong and static. Oh, it was so relaxing. Words can not describe it.
We went around the room, which was full of books, and spoke about what we had used Reiki on in the previous month. We broke up into groups of 4. We performed treatments on each other. The power of our minds and the energy pulsating out of our hands. Breathless.
While I was having my treatment, sitting in a comfortable chair, one of the ladies asked if she could put her hands on my upper chest or over my Heart Chakra. I said that it would be ok. I immediately felt so overwhelmed with healing energy, white energy that I started crying. If you read Meredith's blog that I posted on Facebook for the Reiki Share, I am the one that she talks about crying in the other room. And Jean got the tissue for me.
The power was ELECTRIC. I can't wait for the next Share. I would like to have my own Reiki Share but I think that I have to become a Master first. I will find out. I would like to become a Master so that I can share this wonderful healing technique with my daughter, Abby and anyone who wants to learn to take their own health into their hands.
Reiki embraced me while I was sick and I embraced it back. Karen B. Thank you so much for opening my eyes, my energy and my Spirituality. I trust the Lord and he will take care of me.

New Journey
My last radiation treatment was last Wednesday. February 15th. I am so relieved and so isn't my family. I have had a long journey and glad it is over!!!
